That sentence says a lot more than the kiss... And if I were Kristy, that's what would hurt me more...
Ok... Now I feel guilty...
I wanted this to happen but not quite like that... Janey pulling back had been more correct.
Never something so wrong felt so good...
Now... What will Kirsty say?
"I knew you would be doing this, you are such a cheater and you always have"?
"Don't worry... You have made it easier for me to tell you I'm leaving you"?
"Why, girls... Mind if I join you? I have always wanted to have a Threesome."?
Will Janey apologise?
Will J confront Kirsty about her ex?
Will she hold S hand and tell Kirsty she's sorry but she never felt out of love with S?
@skyangel ....
You have a very difficult work here....

I propose skyangel uploads Double next week!!

Votes in favour?.

The uncertainty is killing me!!!

@#Bo: Haha, well one of your suggestions is right at least ;)

@skyangel:

Hey Sky, what about the double upload this saturday!!
:D :D
Pliiiiiiiissss!????

Reply Skyangel (Guest), October 16th, 2014, 6:39 pm

@#Bo: Awww Bo I can't, much as I'd love to at times. Although I'm two pages ahead on the inking, Becky has Lupus which means she gets tired a lot,lot quicker than most of us do especially if she has had a fairly busy day so I'm really grateful that she donates as much time to colouring the pages for us as she does do. Having said that I do also wish I could turn out the pages faster myself too as I'm always keen to move on and this whole weeks holiday in Scotland seems to have taken months to cover!! XD

Poor Kirsty :(

But i feel Janey wasn't head over heels for Kirsty as she is with Janey.

And how is it to be on the other side of the story, Sarah?
Before you had the perspective of being the cheated one, now the one whom is being cheated with.

Personally i wanted them to both resist, but these things happens. Specially when it's about first love. It really affects so deep and emotionally. But anyway, i do hope they apologize, it's the least they can do. But i don't thin Kirsty will back down soo easily.

Reply skyangel, October 13th, 2014, 6:52 pm

@kamishiro: Some very astute observations there. ;) And yesss, Sarah does know how it feels to be the victim so she should feel much worse for giving in to her temptations.

Reply Synthetic Phylum (Guest), October 11th, 2014, 8:33 am

Nope. Not going to end well AT ALL.

Reply skyangel, October 13th, 2014, 6:53 pm

@Synthetic Phylum: I think you could be right! lol ;)

Reply Synthetic Phylum (Guest), October 14th, 2014, 2:28 am

@skyangel: The WORST part of it is that somehow, I kinda get the feeling that Janey, whether consciously or not, is USING Sarah to "get back" at her current lady-love. And to me, that's UNFORGIVABLE. IF this is the case, I feel bad for Sarah, for being used, and for Kirsty, even if she IS cheating on Janey, for what Janey is doing to her in this. I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that Kirsty HAS been cheating on Janey, that Janey's done something to push Kirsty in that direction. I'll admit that I've been a bit grumpy at Janey over the course of this story, after it was revealed that the was cheating on Sarah. Being polyamorous by nature, I feel that cheating on the person you claim to be in love with is terribly, horribly WRONG, and it is UNFORGIVABLE. Maybe in Janey's case, it's ongoing fallout from when she nearly died; that it altered her brain chemistry to the point where she has poor impulse control. It just seems to me that, in matters of love & romance, Janey's become something of a SOCIOPATH.

Reply #Bo, October 14th, 2014, 3:38 am

@Synthetic Phylum:
I really really hope that's not the reason...
I might be an irremediable romantic but I hope J&S have an opportunity to make thinks work between them.
I cannot see J being so ice hearted or machiavellian... As I cannot see her making something to hurt S... Again...
I think she was thinking about her life, what she did, her relationship with K since she knew S was coming.
I will give you J is not too clever doing things like she does... She has never been, but I'd like to give her a good heart and an opportunity to do things right and have a chance for happiness in her future.
As I don't know which really is Kristy story I cannot empathise with her for good or for bad, but I would like J to be the "good one" this time.
I know @skyangel can't make it too much easy or it would end too soon, but I would like them to have a happy ending... Eventually.
There will be so many opinions as people here because we all have a way to see things and we have our favourite characters, but J and S have always been the main characters although J has been missing at times...
I don't know... But J cannot be doing that to Sarah again... Can she!?? :s

@#Bo: Bo, you think so like me that all you really have to do is ask yourself how you would write this and you'll probably be right! XD I've answered most of this poser to SP already so you can read that and breathe a sigh of relief on this one at least. hehe ;)

Reply Skyangel (Guest), October 16th, 2014, 7:20 pm

*PLOT SPOILER* @Synthetic Phylum: This was really interesting to read as I've only just covered this point of view from Sarah herself in a show down with Kirsty. XD I haven't made a big thing of it though as I felt having Janey use Sarah like this would really be the end of any possible future for them. For one thing I did want the day on the lake to be a really special day for both of them and a bit of a turning point in Sarah finally losing a lot of that anger and resentment towards Janey finally melting away, but like Bo I don't want to end this story with a bitterness between them still, I'd at least want them to still have a lot of affection and respect for each other at the end even if Sarah does finally end up with Lucy.
As for Janey's brain damage, yea I've always liked the idea that it makes her thinking a little skewed and her behaviour a little erratic and I've chatted to a guy on the Duck in the past about his own experiences with head injury and how it affected his sense of morality so although I never wanted to paint Janey as a nympho with a clinical excuse for it (which felt too much like a cop out tbh) I felt she should still be answerable for her affair but be able to show she has learned from it. But I do like the way she's still a little unpredicatable, still a bit annoying and still posing the question, 'Is she still being selfish or just misunderstood now?' It makes her fun to play with from my perspective and hopefully still keeps her interesting to the readers, evn though I know she treads on thin ice with some! XD

Reply SyntheticPhylum, October 16th, 2014, 9:45 pm

@skyangel: I don't think that Janey's a nympho or anything like that. Just that she has poor impulse control. She was kinda impulsive even before she got hit by a bus, and, once she recovered, that particular trait seemed to be amped up, with a similar reduction in her moral/ethical centering, which led to her cheating on Sarah.

Mostly, I just don't want Sarah to get hurt again by Janey. *especially* after how good a day they had, and how she was finally able to let go of some of the anger and resentment she was holding onto. Not because I want to see them together again: I think *that* ship has sailed, and while they may be able to be proper friends again, I don't really see them getting back together again, as that level of trust has, quite honestly, been broken. But being able to let go of that anger and resentment will make it easier for her to find a new love, without Sarah having as much emotional baggage.

Love the song, had never heard it before, but after googling the lyrics, it's a new favorite.

As for the situation...
A lovely dance, a beautifully drawn kiss, and as for the last panel... Kirsty's stance, almost leaning on the door frame for support, she looks close to crying. Given Sarah's empathy, this is gonna hurt...

Reply #Bo, October 11th, 2014, 2:24 pm

@EleanorA:
good liryc, not so good singer... too much out off key (in my humble opinion)

Reply skyangel, October 13th, 2014, 6:56 pm

@EleanorA: I should have written that it was 'Crazy' by Katie Melua. I'm not keen on a lot of hers stuff but this is one that really got me. :)

Reply EleanorA, October 14th, 2014, 10:36 am

@skyangel: Kinda describes most of my playlist.

Reply Skyangel (Guest), October 16th, 2014, 7:34 pm

@EleanorA: Haha yeah, me too! I've never been into any one group or solo artist so much that I felt all their songs were wonderful. I heard 'Crazy' first and then bought her CD and was really disappointed that a lot of the tracks were so heavy and she seemed to be shouting instead of singing. I really like now how I can listen to all an artists' songs but only have to pay for the single song I like without having to pay for a whole CD.

If Janey thinks quickly (like she did when her dad walked in on her and Sarah) she will wobble over to Kirsty, give her a wine-flavoured kiss, mumbles something indistinct about loving everyone and then, concentrating her mind on the smell of tuna and garlic cooking in the galley of a ship in a storm, throw up in the wastebin. This means Kirsty won't come at her with an axe. Otherwise next weeks episide will have gore all over it.

Reply EleanorA, October 12th, 2014, 12:38 pm

@ohanyname: I don't think that'd be a good idea. It was fine at Sarah's 16th, but a display of deception like that would likely make it hard for Sarah to trust Janey ever again.

Reply Soob, October 12th, 2014, 7:55 am

Nooooooooo... they just had to crumble! T_T I'll be biting my nails waiting to find out how all this pans out!

Reply skyangel, October 13th, 2014, 7:01 pm

@Soob: Haha it gets a bit more complicated first ;)

Reply josephcomics, October 13th, 2014, 12:06 pm

Three words: I! KNEW! IT!

I saw this coming from ten miles away. The only difference this time is Sarah's dancing with Janey as opposed to dancing with Gerry to get back at her for not dancing with her.

I know Sarah still has feelings for Janey, that's understandable, but this is just more evidence that apparently Janey's not very good at letting go of her exes, let alone being considerate of the feelings of her current lovers. Tsk. Tsk.

I smell fire...

Reply skyangel, October 13th, 2014, 7:14 pm

@josephcomics: Haha yes you did,you did! I think Jay did too and several others feared they would but hoped sarah would be stronger. XD

Reply Fruitbat44, October 13th, 2014, 1:51 pm

Oh dear.

Resolutions, good intentions, inhibitions, and even common sense, all dissolve in alcohol.

That "Oh" maybe one of the worst moments in this comic.

Okay, it's *possible* that Kirsty might shrug her shoulders and say in a resigned fashion (and Scottish accent), "So have you gotten that out of your systems then?"

But it is really looking like tears before bedtime.

Reply skyangel, October 13th, 2014, 7:27 pm

@Fruitbat44: I really did hesitate about having them kiss and I knew the safe thing would be to have Sarah resist but I eventually felt that after such a wonderful day together Sarah might just be forgiven for having a moment of weakness.
